Our Staff

Pastor Richard is grateful to serve as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Hollywood.   Richard completed B.A. and Master’s Degree in Materials Science Engineering at UCLA as well as the M.DIV degree at the Master’s Seminary.  Having worked as an aerospace engineer for 14 years, and served as an associated pastor for 5 years in a church plant in North Hollywood, Richard  became the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Hollywood in 2019 and is joyful to be able to serve the Lord in faithfully preaching God's word each week, and to lead God's people to follow Christ.  Richard married his beautiful wife Karina in 2013. Together, they raise three children, Sofia, Emilie, and Matthew.

Trevor is honored to be called to serve at First Baptist Church of Hollywood. Trevor gave his life to Christ at a young age in a Baptist church in Mississippi. He first attended FBCH in 2013 after moving to Los Angeles then later around 2015 he began attending regularly, volunteering and became a member. He loves FBCH for it’s Bible based ministry and the family environment that surrounds the church. He likes to play guitar, sing and work with his hands. One of his favorite scriptures is James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” because it reminds him of our power over Satan through the Holy Spirit.
